I'm seeing it .. and I'm not actually believing it ...
I thought it was too awesome so I didn't try to figure out how they do it, but if anyone has it figured - let me know :)

hmm santah m8, seems pretty easy the way i see it - its a special fabric, ive caught that girl multiple times having the same color of fabric on during the time the magician spinned that thing, and once it looped 100% around her, the color changed. im almost positive its a special fabric, especially the last part where he throws those shiny things at her and she stands REALLY still, so every single pigment of the dress changes to white.
the only thing i dont know how to do is when he swapped his female helper but thats prolly a secret door or something dumb like that.

I saw this videe just over a week ago on youtube - you're right it's amazing. I've no idea how they did it. And did you see the expressions on the judges faces?

KoMoDo, you are kidding aren't you? It wasn't just colours that changed - also styles & lengths (some full length, some short, some with ruffles), and even the guy's suit.

and I think the female is the same ... only the wig changes ...

yes well i only caught it halfway through but from the moment i caught it, she had the same dress. the only changes were, lets say when it was pink it was a little more constrained and when it was yellow it was more freely moved, sorta.. so that may well be because of the colors' molecules or whatever :D but thats my theory at least, can you come up with a better one? mine seems reasonable.
and about the guy's suit, same deal, although i dont remember what he wore at first so it might be a totally different suit and then im f***ed :D or perhaps they're using 2 techniques because if im not mistaken, when his suit changed he wasnt at the center of the stage so there might've been some strange swapping there etc :P

not to mention they COULD use twins.
nah, if it's with twins it would've been pretty lame, so I think that's not the case ... :)

lol dam thats a cool trick, obviously not all chicks take hours to get changed :p have to teach sum of me friends how to do that coz they take far to long to get ready...LOL

The team is called Quick Change. I have seen them multiple times at LSU basketball games. I believe they use a very thin but opaque fabric that they fold layer over layer on her. All she does is cut or pull a string and the layer folds down or up. But don't let this cheapen the act, it takes an amazing amount of skill to pull it off.
