Some more fixes
The timezones/offsets issue seems to be a big issue for a lot of you. I changed the front page mechanisms A LOT, and there is a test front page for you to try:
(works for registered users only)
All the lists should now be affected properly by your timezone (the numbers in your watchlist, the today's - tomorrow's - yesterday's episodes, the calendar on the right) and should show in their respective days.
You can also offset all those (for example with 1 day so that it'll show the torrent availability and not the air date) like this:
No other offsets are affecting this temporary page. Only your timezone and the number (in days) after the
Please comment in here how this works for you.
In other fixes
- made some further optimizations, so that the site should load even faster than before (especially for those of you that have
the dates or the countdown turned on in their watchlists).

The test page works perfectly but the current home page doesn't

Home page is perfect except watchlist day is always one before my local time although number of days is correct. Test front page is totally out of whack for me, current time/date is out by an hour (which right now affects today/tomorrow's episodes) and past/future episodes seem to be a day behind (looks like US times) even though I'm in Perth (GMT+8). Would be good to get some more feedback before going live as the current setup seems great to me..

i like it as it is - with no changes :)

greate work, keep on

the test page works great (GMT+0). Great Work

for me, works fine ;) thanks for the effort!

Test page looks great, is it supposed to be implemented yet? Like paska, my test page fixes the issues but it doesn't translate to my actual front page.
It doesn't work for me. The time on the test page is 6 hours off.

The test page works for me, the home page does not.

P.S. If I set my timezone, then the front page ALSO works for me. (and the test page is still correct also)
I've ALWAYS had this problem with the front page, it has NEVER been correct.
However, this is the first time that setting JUST the timezone has corrected the front page. I usually have to ALSO adjust the 'other' settings for a day offset.
Just so you know...

homepage works, test page time is correct but shows are out of whack

Setting my timezone to GMT+0 messes up the middle column - I have to change the front page offset to +1

Should also add that it's been like this for a couple of weeks and it's been working perfectly :-)
But I've just tried it again using the new settings and it seems to be OK - time will tell.
Goodnight santah :-)

The current homepage is showing tomrrow as today but the test page is spot on. I was so disapointed to notice a new southpark wasnt out tonight ;-)
Thanks for the fix.

Test page is correct for me, main page (middle column) is off by somewhere between 4-6 hours, haven't been able to test it completely yet.
The countdown on the watchlist is correct now however.

Test page rocks!

The test page works for me now. I didn't realize that I had to set my timezone manually.

Good morning santah - took a few attempts before the site would load today.
I've just logged in and can tell you that my watchlist is showing incorrect information regarding the countdown (number in brackets).
All shows are a number too high, i.e. CSY:NY which broadcasts today shows (1), Life which broadcasts on Friday is showing (3).
I think I'll just turn off the countdown setting, seems the easiest option.

is this for the test page pearljam?
yep, test page is displaying the right time o/

Hi santah - I've started from scratch again so here's what happens.
Timezone is UK+0, front page offset is -1, calendar offset is 0 - so my watchlist is wrong.
I click on the test page link, the watchlist is now fine but the middle and right-hand columns are wrong - they both look to be 1 day ahead (I want them to show the day a torrent is available). So if I change the calendar offset to -1 the problem with the columns is fixed but the countdown goes bad again :-(
I don't really want to turn off the countdown function but it's definitely the easy fix.

I've tested this with your account pearljam, and everything seems fine on the test page. (all left right and center columns are in sync with one another and show the shows in a same day).
If I use this: http://next-episode.net/index_time.php?daysoffset=-1 on your account, it offsets everything with one day (the torrent availability) and it's still in sync. Can you please double check this again ... Once again, we're talking only about the test page here. Nothing else.
