Test page implemented
The temporary test page implementing the new timezone mechanisms is now live and is replacing your home page.
- there is now a single offset (by day) for all the 3 homepage columns.
If you do have problems, please explain in detail what the problem is (and what were you expecting instead).
Update - Changed stuff.
Those of you who reported problems - how's it now? :)

The episodes that are going to the trackers tomorrow is shown today instead.. Even if I change everything it wont work

Hi santah - here's how it is with the new implementation. Sorry it's going to go on a bit but I don't want to just say it's not working - I want to tell you exactly what it's doing/not doing.
Timezone is UK+0, offset lists by 0, so all 3 columns are displaying shows that are broadcasting today (Wednesday) in the US.
Watchlist has CSI:NY, Dirty Sexy Money and Pushing Daisies at the top with no number in brackets (I think previously these shows would have moved down the list and shown (7) beside them).
Middle column shows today's as CSI:NY, Dirty Sexy Money, Pushing Daisies.
Right column starts with Wednesday and displays CSI:NY, Dirty Sexy Money and Pushing Daisies.
What I prefer is the middle column to show me when a torrent is available, so if I go to settings and put the offset to -1, the middle column is correct, but the watchlist has The Shield at the top (should be further down with (7) beside it I think) and the right column starts with Tuesday and The Shield (when it should be Thursday and CSI:NY, Dirty Sexy Money, Pushing Daisies).

Not working :(
though...thanks all the same ;)
@dezent - tried it with your account, it works perfectly, read the news post again, also click the settings link and offset the lists by 1 day if that's your wish (obviously you haven't tried it)
@pearljam - the shield should be on top as it's countdown is 0 (a.k.a "today"), there was a small bug that made it start from Tuesday instead of Wednesday, but it's now fixed ...
@nicos - not really, or maybe you prefer shows to appear in different days although they (for example) air in the same day with only 1 hour difference?
@convictbob - ?
@c0ll1n5 - m? :)
I am perfectly satisfied
OK santah - if The Shield is meant to be at the top then everything if fine at this end. Good work :-)
But I'll be interested to see what happens at midnight UK time - now there's no option to offset by hours.
Yeah, let me know what happened :)
It wasn't working this morning - tomorrow's shows were in today's, but it seems to have fixed itself now :)

What is wrong with my settings right now? My watchlist gives me the airdates, but the today/tomorrow/yesterday and the right side weekly listing gives me torrent availability dates.
I want all of the dates to be torrent availability dates, including the watchlist. Is this possible?
ok, the string with the date in the watchlist is now also changing from the original air date :)
sorta working here...
my middle column works great but my left and right columns are off, ahead by one day (ie Wed's shows are under Thursday)
left and middle columns working here, but the right hand column has Heroes, How I Met Your Mother and The Big Bang Theory on tuesday instead of monday....and other shows all offset by one day in that column too.
I am in the same boat as fathead! The Today, Tomorrow, Yesterday is correct, but the right hand column is off by a day. It is showing today's shows as on tomorrow. Thanks for the help!!!
i thought it was working fine, but my right list is off by a day.
works just like it did before. perfect!
Does this mean that we can't set each column to a different setting? For example, I like to have the left and middle column show the actual airdate info and the right column to show torrent availability... I played around with the settings a little and wasn't able to figure out a way to get something like this... either way, thanks so much for all your work here, I LOVE the site! (even if it does enable my terrible tv-addiction. :)

I am at GMT-8 (Washington state).
The left hand column (sorted by date) starts with today's shows (Wednesday) but shows them as Thursday.
The middle column starts with today's shows (Wednesday) and are labeled as today (Wednesday).
The right hand column starts with today's shows (Wednesday) but list them under Thursday.
I too will be interested in seeing what happens around midnight. I was one of the user's that had to use the hour offset as well.
The babe of the day page is still working perfectly, so all is good. :)
Thanks for all the hard work in getting this sorted out.
everything works...except it says today is thursday (on left and right columns) o.O The correct shows for today (wednesday) are shown.
Day offset is 0. GMT -5
Edit: On news.html the left hand column says it's wednesday. Lol you're getting there santah ;)
Hi santah - it's after midnight here now and the site updated perfectly - cheers.
I have to agree with mikesullivan on this one.
Works fine here, too! As always! thanks for all the effort you put in this and of course " Happy Birthday NE.N" Love you!!
The middle works fine, but the left and right columns have the shows the next day (torrent availability?) I would like to have everything show just the air date, I'm not interested in the torrent availability. Before, I used the offsets to have it this way. I think It would be perfect if there was a way of selecting if you want to show actual air dates or torrent availability. It could just be a button or something.
No matter what happens, GREAT JOB SANTAH! I think this page just keeps getting better all the time.
I am having the same problem... Middle column is working fine, Right and Left columns are off by a day.

Everything works fine for me, to be honest I didn't notice any changes the columns could always be sorted by the GMT offset, and I haven't had to do that since I created my account...
Great Job Santah

i was wondering what was going on.... works fine, sweet!!
Do we need a -2 day setting? I'm in the UK, and it's 7pm right now. I've got it set to -1 day, but it's telling me shows are available to download now (southpark, for instance) that I know haven't aired yet in the states... :-(
comment # 35 by
omg. nevermind, I'm an idiot. i forgot what day it is! oh dear, very silly. but i'm sure it's happened to everyone at one point or another! :-)
Working perfect for me today. Woo Hoo!!!
Well... I didn't expect to be agreeing with mikesullivan again so soon. I hardly even know him. All is well. Thanks for the work Santah. :D

I need help...
Right now, its monday, the time is 17:43 at my place (+1 timezone).
It tells me How I Met Your Mother airs in 10 hours ( 27:43) and that it will air monday.
Obiviously that is wrong, and i want it to stop doing that.
I only want it to show, in my timezone, what days it airs, and when within 24 hours, how many hours till that happens.
