Sold ! - Next Episode

I can finally unveil a deal that was in negotiation the last few months.

Due to the tough economic situation, I had to sell next-episode.net to BenTheMan. (the amount will remain undisclosed).
He'll be the sole owner and administrator from now on, and some things will unfortunately .. change. Here's the official statement from our new owner:

   "I'm very happy we were finally able to close this deal and I want to personally thank santah for his commitment so far and wish him all the best for his future. N-E.net is a great site with, in my view, endless potential. Santah did a great job so far, he built smth. BUT being non-profit, N-E had reached a point where it was goin nowhere. ...
   So that's what I am going to change. There will be some changes regarding the use and availability of all the services and infos on the site...
   We will (probably in June) launch N-E 2.0 with premium membership services for a very appropriate per user charge. I'm very excited and convinced all N-E users will understand that in today's world it is basically impossible to give away information for free."

I really REALLY hate April 1st ...with all my being I hate it. Always some douche thinking their funny when, ultimately, they're just pissing you off more than normal.

@membreya: It's supposedly only some Languages it's effecting. English US is ok for instance.

I wouldn't mind buying N-E if it was possible/i could afford it, just for the sake of owning something popular that loads of peepz use, that way i wouldn't have to come up with something super-fancy. :D

Ofc i would still leave the administation and all that to the professionals (aka santah & the rest of the N-E gang) :p

Why is everybody so sure this is a spoof? Something like this transaction is inevitable someday, and the buyer's statement rings true to me. On the other hand, I don't doubt that Santah is a good enough writer to make a spoof plausible

Pretty pathetic attempt at an April fools day to be honest, this would only be a concern to people who actually pay attention to the staff on this site..
I could care less if it was sold to ben...Don't even know who he is, for all i know he's better than this santah character..

Better luck next time - Why is everyone saying well done?..You can only fool the fools...Not really much of an accomplishment, it's like getting a fish wet..
