Hi guys. Introducing Next Episode Premium Membership - a way to support the site while getting something back!

If you have been using the site for years, depend on it and appreciate it - please consider becoming a Premium Member.

It will help a ton with the costs of operating the site, will hide the ads and will enable for you some neat new features!

I'll be working hard on adding more cool stuff for Premium Members, so I hope you'll find it worthy of the symbolic price tag.

Working on the iPad app on and off. Will finish it soon though, I hope :)

Not sure if there is a mechanism on the AppStore to give it for free to some people, and make it paid for others, but if I find a way - I'll do it!

I really, really love the "time spent"-feature. Thanks for giving the option to pay per month, I can still buy even if I'm broke :D

No hate from me, because I love the site and I appreciate all the hard work (and that all the major changes aren't forced ;)).

As for the incentives, imo premium members should be allowed to change their forum titles at any time. And also... nope, out of ideas. :P

Sorry about the confusion guys. There is a url you're supposed to get transferred to after the purchase which explains what is new with your account and where you can find it.

I guess it only happened when you clicked the "go back to Next Episode" from the Paypal payment page, and not everyone does that.

I made it so now the site will force new subscribers to go to go to that page at least once after becoming a premium member.

In any case, I hope everyone above was able to check out the premium features, and again - thank you for the bottom of my heart for supporting me and Next Episode! :)

I really really like the idea of a premium membership (and I'll hopefully be able to contribute soon (I rely way too much on next-episode but never comment).

The time spent thing sounds intriguing (and scary-not sure I want to know how much time I've spent watching TV lol!).

How about less lengthy membership options - like a 3 monthly option, it might give people a taste of what they get before they opt for longer periods? Just a thought.

Good idea. The site has been up for over eight years and I've used it daily since almost day 1. I'm really quiet these days, but I couldn't imagine my online life without this site. I hope you get tons of premium members!!

I can't afford to pay for premium at the moment but appreciate all the hard work that has gone into this site. Possibly an unpopular idea buy may I suggest a YouTube vid on the homepage as a way of generating some income. That way even free users can show some support and the intrusion would be minimal...

There was never an option to delete a comment.

What, exactly does "...from the shows you're not tracking." mean, in the time spent section?

I have to say, though, that I've never quite understood what makes those shows go there. What criteria makes them appear there?

Clicking on the link 'stop tracking'.

You can click on 'start tracking' and they'll move up to the stuff to watch and appear with their episodes.

The 'do not track' function is there to unclutter the stuff to watch in case you have shows you're not currently watching but you want to keep in your watchlist :)

PS. Request no.1 - please bring back the option to have shows not on your watchlist that are beyond their 1st season in Today's / Tomorrow's / Yesterday's lists. This is the one feature I really miss from the old next-episode, as it was probably the best and quickest (for me at least) way of finding new things to watch... Thanks!

They're still in your watchlist, appear everywhere on the site (today, tomorrow, calendar lists etc) and the progress of their watched episodes is remembered.

Just don't clutter the stuff to watch and wait patiently for their time when you'll resume watching/tracking their episodes :)

@ioanna23 - you can still do that. Check the 'Simplify those lists (no images and 1 row per item)' checkbox in your settings, and it'll bring the old way shows were displayed in those lists, along with all the rest of the shows.
