Wow that's awesome. I was thinking it'd be great if you could tell if a episode has aired get without needing to load up the shows page. Unless I'm being stupid and this is already a feature. When you look at or hover over the days shows in the "today" section it would show eat her a aired or unaired icon. This could also be done with movies but I think it may already be the case. You've done a lot of great work recently and I'm just loving the direction the site is going.
Keep up the great work! Be safe.

Excellent. IMDB URL works great :)
Just curious, what's the limit for non-premium?
comment # 3 by
Is it going to stay at 25 movies for no premium? Also maybe its handy to involve lists like on many sites. So you can look up for example an actor and see all his movies and then check them :p

what about imdb lists?
comment # 5 by
@flyfixed - if an episode appears in the Episodes section - it means it has aired!
@ArniVidar - as veraapoes mentioned - 25
@veraapoes, @amrstation - yeah, I'm considering lists and lists importing from IMDb

Will movies be coming to the iOS app or is this a web based option only?
comment # 7 by
Movies will come to the mobile apps, most likely in the very next update!

Movies would be nice on the app, but I'd personally me more interested in getting the tags into there. :)

@santah I know that's the case but I'm referring more to the homepage. I don't really go past the homepage and movies page apart from news postings. Clicking to see if that episode has aired or has a few more hours can be tiresome when you somethings have 10 different shows airing on one day. I understand the episode page does this already but I'd assume putting a similar feature on the homepage would not be too much trouble. I'm not a web developer though so what would I know haha.
Also I love you fixed my name. Made me chuckle thinking how ironic it made it. Thanks for the reply.

So no tracking or alerting when movies are avalible on disc or digital download? Without that it's pretty useless to me.

I know that the difference between premium features and paywalls is awful small if not non-existing but imo "Hot Movies" and "Upcoming Movies" as premiums is taking it too far. I mean, what am I getting for using the site when it comes to the movies section? A list where I have to literally type in every movie or copy it from another site e.g. imdb, what's the advantage?
comment # 12 by
You don't need to use it if you don't find it useful. This website has many features and not everyone takes advantage of all of them.
Movies section, even non-premium, can be very useful to people who want to keep a list of movies they want to see along with the release date and filter against that.
The charts add a lot, I agree.
Did you prefer it more when Movies was only available to Premium members?
comment # 13 by
I have no complaints in regards to the rest of the site.
"Did you prefer it more when Movies was only available to Premium members?"
It makes no difference, it's the same if you only provide list functionality, that's my point. List functionality is everywhere, hell Google docs is providing it.
Don't get me wrong here, I understand the need to monetize however you need to provide a coherent and transparent service that people want to use before you can monetize on additional service.

The way I see it, the "coherent and transparent service that people want to use" is the entirety of the Episode tracking system. The movie stuff is just a bonus and should have no bearing on whether or not anyone wants to use the site.

#14 - Yeah movies is a fine bonus for premium users, I would not disagree for a moment however right now for non-premium users it truly does next to nothing, well it's a list that you have to fill out yourself from scratch. Maybe the right choice is simply to close off the section rather then pretend that it's anything but a bonus as a premium user.

@jpvg1981 I appreciate the feedback.
The section stays as it is and will steadily grow in features for premium and non-premium users.
