I updated some of the (light theme) website colors. Colors in the dark theme are unaffected.

The site background and header background were changed. Here is what they looked like before and here - now.

I believe the new colors are easier on the eyes and bring a tighter, more modern look. Your thoughts?

I come here everyday and didn't notice the change. That's the problem with getting old.

The good side is I get to watch the first season of a show I love every 2 years like it's brand new. So cool.........(I think)

A site should be practical and easy to use, who cares about "modern" (whatever that even is).
The lighter blue header looks like it will make the white text just that little bit harder to read.

Btw, while you're fiddling, it should be "Hey there", not "hey there". Start with a Capital letter.

Thanks, it seems good and a fairly subtle change. One of the great things about your site is that it's not cluttered and full of scrolling and dynamic menus that plague most other websites. Please always keep it crisp, clean and simple.

I do not like the black background. My eyes are watering if I stare to long. The blue was more soothing and easier on the eyes. I do like the blue on top. It is (almost) the same color as the old blue background.

Thanks for all the work you do, but...How do I get mine to go back to the old way, please? The Black is too uncomfortable for me. My eyes started hurting just from typing this post.

@Witchy, @MimiCarr - it's dark, but it's not black dark - this is the color: #1f2937

I hope you guys get used to it. I keep comparing it to the previous, blue color - and it was tougher on the eyes!
