Some of literature's most famously terrifying characters - including Dr. Frankenstein and his creature, Dorian Gray and iconic figures from the novel Dracula - become embroiled in Victorian London. The series weaves together these classic horror origin stories as the characters grapple with their monstrous alienation.
The show is poetic and sad, it's not about action and car chase scenes. I enjoy this show - first season felt a little silly, starts building up in second season and by the third it's quite powerful.

Well, I felt the same. I did not watch any of the first season apart from episodes 1 and 2. But my wife did. Then I just started watching the second season and I liked it. Then it got really good. Now on season 3 and loving it.

I watched season one online over a few days and like it then I watched season two on the weekly and it was unmemorable a complete waste like the entire season was some setup for something big that has still has never come?
The series started out with some promise but after one season everything changed and it became characters talking around things like everything is a big secrets that you would expect to go to somewhere at some point, have some big meaning but a season and a half later it is only an aimless drama with no drama
