The George Carlin Show was a stage Sam Simon established to allow George Carlin to express his pointed views of society on "regular" television. It was set in a Manhattan bar, much like the ones Carlin's alcoholic father used to frequent in the 1930s.
Teddy Zakalokis, a temporary mail room employee of UTA (Unlimited Talent Agency), who gets sent to the airport to pickup a client, a world famous actor and a complete jerk. After putting up with his attitude, Teddy punches him; the actor likes this show of guts and demands that Teddy become his agent.
