The plot revolves around two dedicated police officers who tackle crime and uphold justice on the French-owned Islands of St. Pierre et Miquelon, situated off the coast of Newfoundland.

Departure centers on the shocking disappearance of Flight 716. Kendra Malley (Panjabi), the recently widowed, brilliant aviation investigator, is called in by her former boss and mentor Howard Lawson (Plummer) to investigate the mysterious crash. With the whole world watching, Kendra and her team race to pinpoint the missing aircraft and locate possible survivors. They must battle through a host of suspects and motives - pilot suicide, terrorism, politically motivated murder, systems failure - to determine what really happened, and to stop it from happening again.

Caught is set in 1978 and follows a young man who was caught smuggling drugs to Newfoundland. After spending five years in prison, he breaks out in order to do one last drug run in a futile attempt to shake off his past and set himself up for life. Slaney embarks on a cross-country adventure filled with fascinating characters and close calls.

The series follows the chaotic and violent struggle to control wealth and power in the North American fur trade in the late 18th century. Told from multiple perspectives, the series takes place in a world where business negotiations might be resolved with close-quarter hatchet fights, and where delicate relations between native tribes and Europeans can spark bloody conflicts.

This series follows Aminata's journey from her childhood home in West Africa to a South Carolina indigo plantation to Canvas Town, an early Black settlement in lower Manhattan. Aminata draws upon her intelligence and strength of character to help find a way home and reunite with her long-lost daughter.

Malachy and Jake Doyle are father and son private detectives taking on cases (and trying to keep Jake from being constantly beaten up) in St. John's, Newfoundland.
