Amanda Owen

Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen and her family realise their ambitious vision of renovating a derelict farmhouse in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales.

Amanda Owen's Farming Lives follows the mum of nine as she meets different farmers across the country to find out what life is like for them in 2022.

The Owen family - and there are 11 of them - is the cheeriest and happiest imaginable. Clive and Amanda's kids lead a simple, frugal life and are totally involved in farm work: responsible 14-year-old Reuben is a mechanical whizz, six-year-old Sid expertly uses a hay-baling knife and lights a camp fire, while even the little ones help with lambing, feeding and herding. All without moaning. Not even on a bitterly cold, snowy Christmas Day.
