The Good Karma Hospital
Set in the tropical paradise of Goa, The Good Karma Hospital is a drama with heart. Vibrant and colourful, the contemporary series follows a team of British and Indian medics as they cope with work, life and love at an over-worked and under-resourced cottage hospital. Run by a gloriously eccentric Englishwoman, the "Good Karma" turns no one away - locals, ex-pats and tourists are all welcomed through its doors. With a stunning location, exotic medical cases and unforgettable characters, the series mixes the heartbreaking with the humorous, as the doctors, nurses and patients discover that the hospital is more than just a rundown medical outpost - it's a home.
The Trials of Jimmy Rose
The show follows the personal life of criminal Jimmy Rose. Jimmy is released from prison following a 12-year stretch for armed robbery and can't wait to get home. Despite his grandson Elliot's excitement and his daughter Julie's happiness at having her father home after suffering a painful divorce, his homecoming is ruined by his wife Jackie's distance. His granddaughter Ellie and his estranged son Joe are also notably absent.
Little Dorrit
Little Dorrit tells the story of the Dorrit family and the rich array of characters they encounter on their way from rags to riches and back again.
Honest
Comedy and crime make an odd concoction in this UK series. The Carter family have a long history of petty crime, can they break the vicious cycle for the sake of their kids, or is it too late for them?
New Tricks
New Tricks is a BBC television drama series which follows the work of the Unsolved Crime and Open Case Squad (UCOS). Led by Detective Superintendent Sandra Pullman, it is made up of retired police officers who have been recruited to re-investigate unsolved crimes.
At Home with the Braithwaites
Peter Davison and Amanda Redman are starring as David and Alison Braithwaite in this brilliant mixture of comedy and drama.
The story begins with Alison being given a European lottery ticket by her youngest daughter Charlotte for her 40th birthday and guess what - she happens to be the winner of £38m.
First Alison cannot believe it herself and then she is afraid of how such sudden wealth will affect her family, so she decides to keep a secret, and use the money to help others. She uses her middle name and her maiden name to create Jane Crowther and sets up a charity called the Jane Crowther Trust.
