TV Series Starring Amy Poehler
The series centers on the life of Duncan, a spectacularly average 15-year-old boy, his family and friends.
In this six-episode competition, eight of the most talented makers from across the country will take on a variety of handmade projects with the hopes of impressing Poehler, Offerman and our expert judges. Poehler and Offerman both share a love and passion of craftsmanship, albeit from different perspectives. Poehler is a self-proclaimed crafting novice who has long harbored a secret appreciation for those who can imagine and execute incredible things by hand. Offerman is a New York Times best-selling author in the woodworking space and is well known for his love for making a variety of objects himself.
Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later
Netflix's follow-up to the 2015 eight-episode limited series Wet Hot American Summer: First Day Of Camp, which was a prequel to David Wain's cult 2001 feature comedy Wet Hot American Summer.
Summer vacation just got a little shorter for Colin Jost and Michael Che, the two "Saturday Night Live" cast members who anchor its long-running "Weekend Update" news satire. "S.N.L." will be on hiatus but the news cycle will still be serving up plenty of material to mock.
Parks and Recreation
The abstract antics of an Indiana town's public officials as they pursue random projects to make their city a better place.
Saturday Night Live Weekend Update Thursday
NBC's veteran late-night show Saturday Night Live expands its "Weekend Update" segment in this special series. Beginning as a limited run of three special episodes during the 2008 Presidential campaign, SNL Weekend Update Thursday has once again returned to NBC's Thursday night lineup.
Golden Globe Awards
This is probably the only time where television and movie stars come together on one night. The Hollywood Foreign Press gives up the awards to honorable achievements in films and television. The awards for films and television would be divided into a comedy/musical section and a drama section, so they can nominate more films. The Golden Globes usually gives an early indication on who's the favorite to take home Best Picture in the Oscars.
Upright Citizens Brigade
The underrated comedy central TV show Upright Citizens Brigade was created in 1998 and canceled in 2000. It was created by four improv comedians Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Ian Roberts, and Matt Walsh. The show is various sketches that are linked together in the end in one big conflict. The four main characters (Adair, Trotter, Colby, and Antoine) operate in an under ground sanctum were they plot out ways to create chaos in society.
Saturday Night Live
A late-night comedy show featuring several short skits, parodies of television commercials, a live guest band, and a pop-cultural guest host each week. Many of the SNL players have spun off successful independent comedy and/or movie careers from here.
