Showtrial
Every now and then a trial starts which grips the nation, placing victim and accused - as well as their families - at the heart of a media storm. Showtrial focuses on one such case, when Talitha Campbell, the arrogant daughter of a wealthy entrepreneur, is arrested following the disappearance of fellow student, Hannah Ellis, the hard-working daughter of a single mother.
From Talitha's arrest to the jury's final verdict, Showtrial switches between both sides of the legal battle, as defence and prosecution fight for their version of what really happened to Hannah, and the truth about Talitha: Falsely accused? Or callous murderer?

The ambitious eight-part drama follows the early life of Queen Victoria, from her accession to the throne at the tender age of 18 through to her courtship and marriage to Prince Albert. Victoria went on to rule for 63 years, and was our longest-serving monarch until she was overtaken by Elizabeth II on 9th September this year.
Rufus Sewell stars as Lord Melbourne, Victoria's first prime minister. The two immediately connected and their intimate friendship became a popular source of gossip that threatened to destabilize the Government - angering both Tory and Whigs alike.
Nick Nickleby
Nick Nickleby has been updated for television from the Charles Dickens novel Nicholas Nickleby to reflect the concerns and questions about modern Britain. Dickens' exploration of corruption within a private boarding schools has been switched to care-homes for the elderly. The series invites the viewers at home to reflect on how the vulnerable suffer when the pursuit of profit is valued more than that of human kindness. Following his father's death the family farm is repossessed and Nick travels to London with his mum and younger sister, Kat, to look for help from Uncle Ralph, the owner of a chain of high profile care homes.
Hotel Babylon
This British drama takes us behind the the scenes of a luxurious five-star London hotel, where manager Rebecca Mitchell leads a team whose job is to give a superlative service. What we see is a series of dramas centering on the problems of the rich and the famous, with the hotel's staff always on hand to help - and keen to make a little extra money.
