Masters of the Air, based primarily on Donald L. Miller's nonfiction novel Masters of the Air: America's Bomber Boys Who Fought the Air War Against Nazi Germany, telling the story of the aerial wars in WWII through the eyes of men of the Eighth Air Force, also known as the Mighty Eighth, who brought the war to Hitler's doorstep.

The series is described as part historical fiction and part conspiracy thriller and will center around the aftermath of the first American Presidential assassination and the fight to preserve and protect the ideals that were the foundation of Lincoln's Reconstruction plans. It will also feature Black historical figures whose lives intertwined with the escape, manhunt, and subsequent high-crimes investigation, including Mary Simms, a former slave of the doctor who treated Booth's injury and gave him safe harbor after his crime.

Adapted from Agatha Christie's 1958 novel of the same title, Ordeal by Innocence centers on murder of wealthy philanthropist Rachel Argyll at her family estate Sunny Point on Christmas 1954.
