Barry Van Dyke

Dick Van Dyke stars as professor Dr. Jonathan Maxwell, an absent-minded and brilliant criminologist. His son Barry Van Dyke co-stars as a former cop who is working as a private investigator.

Diagnosis Murder follows Dr. Mark Sloan, the chief of internal medicine, at LA's Community General Hospital. Dr. Sloan, much like Jessica Fletcher of Murder, She Wrote, has a magnetic quality that apparently draws murders to him. Every week, Dr. Sloan stumbles across murders, either acting in his role at the hospital, aiding the police as a medical consultant, or just plain dumb luck.

Created by Donald P. Bellisario, who had already had such hits as 'Magnum p.i.' (1980-1988), 'Airwolf' followed the adventures of a hi-tech helicopter and it's reclusive pilot, Stringfellow Hawke.

Only the first three episodes of the series, comprising the pilot movie, feature a title sequence beginning with "Galactica 1980". The remaining episodes begin by calling the show "Battlestar Galactica", as if this were the second season of the original show.

After a long and successful run as a supporting player on CBS's The Carol Burnett Show from 1967 to 1977, Harvey Korman was offered a contract by ABC to headline his own television series. The Harvey Korman Show follows the the misadventures of Harvey A. Kavanaugh, an egotistical, self-centered out-of-work actor who operates an acting class from his home that he shares with his level-headed daughter Maggie (Christine Lahti), who works at the Friendly Community Bank.
