Barry is about a former Marine who works as a hitman in the Midwest. He travels to Los Angeles to kill someone and ends up finding acceptance in the L.A. theater scene. In Los Angeles, Barry becomes involved with a group of hopefuls in the theater scene. He is lonely and dissatisfied with his life as a hitman in the Midwest.
