Jimmy is a typical kid, who just happens to be a genius. He creates gadgets to improve his everyday life, but his inventions go awry more often than not, and hilarious trouble ensues.

In the city of Dakota, a teenage boy with electricity based powers, with the help of his inventive friend, fights crime as a superhero.

Thurgood Stubbs is the chief superintendent in a housing project, living with his wife, Murief. The show, which was created by Eddie Murphy, follows the adventures of the Stubbs family and others in the building, animated through the process of 'foamation.'
