TV Series Starring David Wilmot
House of Guinness
Set in 19th-century Dublin and New York, the story focuses on the consequences of the death of Benjamin Guinness, the man responsible for the extraordinary success of the Guinness brewery, and the far-reaching impact of his cunning will on the fate of his four adult children, Arthur, Edward, Anne, and Ben, as well as on a group of Dublin characters who work and interact with the growing juggernaut that is Guinness.
Small Town, Big Story
It tells the story of the effect on a small Irish village when a Hollywood production begins shooting on its doorstep and rattled residents struggle to keep a long-buried secret under wraps.
Bodkin
Bodkin is a darkly comedic thriller about a motley crew of podcasters who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in an idyllic, coastal Irish town. But once they start pulling at threads, they discover a story much bigger and weirder than they could have ever imagined. As our heroes try to discern fact from fiction - about the case, about their colleagues, and, most painfully, themselves - the series challenges our perception of truth and exposes the stories we tell ourselves to justify our beliefs or validate our fears.
Station Eleven
A post-apocalyptic saga spanning multiple timelines, telling the stories of survivors of a devastating flu as they attempt to rebuild and reimagine the world anew while holding on to the best of what's been lost.
Barkskins
Barkskins follows a group of outcasts who must navigate the brutal hardships, competing interests, and tangled loyalties at the crossroads of civilization-1600s New France-where the war to escape their past and re-make themselves is cast against the vast and unforgiving wilds of North America.
Resistance (2019)
Welcome to Ireland, 1920.
Everything is double - two states, two armies, two judicial systems - and with each of those states working overtly and covertly to destabilise the other, parents and children, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives are all forced to live double lives themselves, and can no longer trust each other. The destruction and collapse of the state is echoed in that of the families and the relationships of our protagonists. Everyone is fighting for their lives, and for the future.
Black Sails
Set up as a twenty-year prequel to Robert Louis Stevenson's classic book Treasure Island, Black Sails will follow the adventures of cutthroat corsair Captain Flint and his crew of brutal buccaneers, whose plundering ways have led them to the brink of extinction.
The Clinic
The Clinic is an RTE drama set in a Dublin Health Clinic, run by Ed Costello and his wife Cathy. Also working at The Clinic are psychiatrists, physiotherapists, homeopathists, and nurses, along with receptionists and former co-owner Mrs. Fleming. The series ended after seven seasons.
