This is a four-part BBC comedy series, which premiered on BBC Two on 19 December 2011. It is a parody of the works of Charles Dickens, drawing its title from Bleak House and The Old Curiosity Shop.

SuperTed was a teddy bear found to be defective in the toy factory where he was made, and then disposed of into an old storeroom. A Spotty man found him there and brought him to life with his "cosmic dust". He was later taken to Mother Nature and given magical powers that enabled him to fight evil. This evil invariably takes the form of Texas Pete (an evil cowboy, the antagonist of the series) and his gang; Bulk (an overweight, bumbling fool) and Skeleton (an undead, outrageously camp, cowardly skeleton with pink slippers).

Inspector Cyril Blake has retired from the Luxton Bus Company (On the Buses) and has persuaded his reluctant sister to join him in Spain. He would have preferred to have gone on his own but he needed her half of their mother's legacy to buy the new flat! But when they arrive in Spain things are not the same as in the brochure - the flat is not finished and building is still taking place. The lifts don't work, the sun is too hot and the food is inedible - and don't mention the plumbing!

The longest running soap opera on British television screens (and the world), the series focus' on the lives of individuals that are living in Weatherfield's Coronation Street. Births, marriages, affairs, deaths and all the events in between are tackled in this ITV series, who's cast is always in a constant cycle of change. Coronation Street is in it's 53rd year and is still going strong!!!
