In an isolated village in the north west of Ireland, a murder investigation begins when a body is found buried in the bog. Garda Conall Ó Súilleabháin discovers it is his mother who has been missing for 15 years & is forbidden from working on the case. But is drawn into the investigation by young journalist/podcaster Ciara-Kate (Hannah Brady), who wants to expose the village's deepest secrets. As they unravel the truth, they must confront a community bound by silence and its own moral codes.
The stunning scenery of Ireland's west coast conceals a dark secret in North Sea Connection, in which Ciara must confront the dramatic consequences of her brother Aidan's decision to transport drugs at sea. Threatened by a cartel and with a Swedish police officer closing in, Ciara's plans lead her family into a new series of unpredictable and dangerous events.
