This dramedy series set in 1980 revolves around a group of recent college grads setting out to pursue their dreams in Manhattan while still clinging to the familiarity of their working-class Long Island home town.

This series is set in New York City, 1967 in the Public Morals Division where cops walk the line between morality and criminality as the temptations that comes from dealing with all kinds of vice can get the better of them. It centers on cop Terry Muldoon (Burns) who knows the line between the good guys and bad guys is thin, and he is determined to raise his sons to be honest and hardworking as he deals with the dark underbelly of the vice world.

Mob City depicts the true story of the conflict between the Los Angeles Police Department and criminal elements led by Mickey Cohen. The show explores the decades-long battle between Police Chief William Parker and Cohen, a former boxer who became a powerful figure in the criminal underworld.
