The Rachel Incident
The series based on the Caroline O'Donoghue's novel: set in Cork in 2010 follows a student working at a bookstore when she meets James, who is effervescent and insistently heterosexual. The two become friends & roommates. When Rachel admits to a huge crush on her professor, James helps her devise a launch for his new book at the store with the hope she might seduce him afterwards.
What It Feels Like For A Girl
Set at the turn of the millennium, the coming-of-age story will follow teenager Byron, who is stuck in a small working-class town that hasn't been the same since the coal mine shut in the 80s, and is fed up of life there.
Making an escape to Nottingham's kinetic underworld, Byron comes across the East Midlands' premier podium-dancer-cum-hellraiser, Lady Die, and is adopted into Lady Die's chaotic family of trouble-makers, dubbed The Fallen Divas.
Red Rose
Red Rose follows a disparate group of teenagers, adrift in the long hot summer following GCSEs, hanging out on the Bolton moors with little sense of direction or purpose now that school is over. Rumours circulate of the Red Rose app, an urban legend that blooms on the smartphones of teenagers, encouraging them to undertake a series of challenges increasingly dangerous in its demands. On the fringes of her group of friends, Rochelle Jackson downloads the mysterious app, naively inviting darkness into her life. What she sets in motion is a series of events that take the town by storm, and bring the friends together to battle the unseen forces of a seemingly supernatural entity.
