Linebarrels of Iron
The Linebarrels of Iron story takes place in a fictional alternate future, centering on a junior-high school student named Kouichi Hayase, who escaped his daily life of being bullied as a child by daydreaming about being a hero. His life was forever changed during a class trip in the year 2016 when an artificial satellite fell from orbit. Due to this "accident", Kouichi was left in a coma for half a year, and upon awakening, found himself with strange powers, including superhuman strength. Then, in 2019, a mysterious robot called "Linebarrel" appears before him.
It is revealed that the accident from three years ago was not caused by a satellite, but rather by the Machina robot Linebarrel and that this turned him into a "Factor", which is the name given to Machina pilots. This leads him to encounter Emi Kizaki, a mysterious amnesiac girl whose unknown past seems to be related to Linebarrel. He joins her in fighting for JUDA, the world's largest medical equipment maker, which happens to secretly own several other Machina robots.
Claymore
This is an anime adaptation of a popular manga based on a fictional world with medieval technology. In this world, humans coexist with creatures called Yoma. The Yoma are sentient, shape-changing monsters that disguise themselves as and then feed on humans. By consuming a human brain, the Yoma can absorb the victim's memories, allowing them to infiltrate human circles without arousing the suspicions of their victim's close friends or family. In order to protect humans from the Yoma, a secret organization has created an order of superhuman warriors known as Claymores.
Chibi Vampire Karin
Maaka Karin comes from a family of vampires living in Japan, but she is not a normal vampire. Vampires are normally supposed to drink the blood of their victims...but Karin suffers from a condition that causes her body to produce excessive amounts of blood. About once a month, she has to get rid of the excess blood by giving it to her "victims." But she somehow manages...she goes to school like everyone else her age.
Well, things are about to get more complicated. When a new student, Usui Kenta transfers into Karin's class, she starts producing unusually huge amounts of blood, almost as if in reaction to him. Worse, he happens upon Karin's...true nature...
Cardcaptor Sakura
Sakura Kinomoto is appointed Card Captor by the Guardian of the Seal, Kerberos, when she accidentally opens the magical book of Clow Cards and scatters them to the four winds. To protect the world from disaster she must capture all of the Clow Cards with the help of her friend Tomoyo and Kerberos.
Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon
The protagonist of Sailor Moon, Usagi Tsukino, an ordinary ditsy middle-school girl - or so she herself thinks, at least - discovers a talking cat named Luna, who reveals Usagi's identity as "Sailor Moon" a special warrior with the destiny of saving the planet Earth, and later the entire galaxy.
Daddy Long Legs
Judy Abbott is an orphan who has been given the opportunity to study at the prestigious Lincoln Memorial High School by a mysterious benefactor whom she only knows as "John Smith". She has only seen his shadow once, and because of his long legs, she calls him "Daddy Long Legs". The only payment she is to give her benefactor is that she write him letters every month, with no expectation of them being responded to.
The anime covers 3 years of Judy's life, starting with her leaving the John Grier Home orphanage, and ending with her finishing high school.
