The Rookie is inspired by a true story. Fillion plays John Nolan, the oldest rookie in the LAPD. At an age where most are at the peak of their career, Nolan cast aside his comfortable, small town life and moved to L.A. to pursue his dream of being a cop. Based on Melissa de la Cruz's best-selling novel, Witches of East End centers on the adventures of a mother and her two adult daughters - both of whom unknowingly are their family's next generation of witches -- who lead seemingly quiet, uneventful modern day lives in Long Island's secluded seaside town of North Hampton.

"Viva Laughlin!" is a re-make of the Golden Globe nominated mini-series "Viva Blackpool". The story is about an ambitious small entrepreneur Ripley Holden (Lloyd Owen), who dreams of opening up a casino in Laughlin, Nevada. Meanwhile, he is having marital problems and is struggling to keep his family together.

"Like sands through the hourglass... so are the Days of Our Lives". These words, spoken by late cast member Macdonald Carey, open every episode of this daytime drama, chronicaling the trials and tribulations of the citizens of the fictional city of Salem.
