The series follows an eccentric, agoraphobic arm-chair detective with a reluctant traffic cop in a series that showcases community, connection, and only-in-Florida characters. Together, Bell Prescott and Cammie Lorde, wrestle with personal demons, shocking twists and a few Florida gators on their journey to heal themselves and their town.

The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder will pick up the story of its central character Penny Proud (Kyla Pratt) and also include her madcap family: parents Oscar (Tommy Davidson) and Trudy (Paula Jai Parker), twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and her grandmother Suga Mama (JoMarie Payton). We'll also see the return of Penny's loyal crew Dijonay Jones (Karen Malina White), LaCienega Boulevardez (Alisa Reyes), and Zoey Howzer (Soleil Moon Frye), among others.

Faced with the destruction of her town at the hands of a greedy mining company, a high school teacher utilizes an obscure cartographic loophole to declare independence and lead a young group of misfits as they attempt to start their own country from scratch.
