The Royal Bodyguard
The Royal Bodyguard follows the escapades of Captain Guy Hubble (Sir David Jason), an ex-guardsman who saw action in Cyprus and Northern Ireland. Now Head of Security at Buckingham Palace car park, he is surprisingly appointed as Royal Bodyguard after saving the Queen's life in an act of bravery on the day of the State Opening of Parliament.
This is much to the frustration of Hubble's boss Colonel Dennis Whittington, who is desperate to see the back of Hubble and knows only too well about his relentless mishaps. Hubble takes his new role very seriously but soon manages to upset foreign ambassadors, his colleagues and members of the public as he haphazardly carries out his security checks and takes on personal rescue missions for the Queen and her family. Hubble manages to endanger Royal security repeatedly and on a colossal scale, yet somehow comes up smelling of roses every time.
Reggie Perrin
Reggie works as the head of disposable razors at a male-grooming firm and, as in the original, he's repeatedly late because of bizarre rail problems.
Unhappy with the world, Reggie plods through life complaining about how things should be.
Little Dorrit
Little Dorrit tells the story of the Dorrit family and the rich array of characters they encounter on their way from rags to riches and back again.
Not Going Out
Sitcom following the jokes, jibes and general misunderstandings of happy-go-lucky Lee, his best mate Tim and the object of Lee's hapless affections, his landlady and Tim's sister Lucy.
The Worst Week of My Life
Howard Steel's wedding week turns into a nightmare in this hilarious British sitcom. Every mishap imaginable happens on the way to the altar.
From exploding toilets to disastrous stag parties, Howard's life is one disaster after another. This show will keep you laughing from start to finish.
Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson
Not to be confused with the Russian production of a similar name, this rendition of the famous detective's casefiles sees Whitehead performing a particularly ruthless incarnation of Holmes.
Many episodes share titles and plots with the 1950's Sherlock Holmes series, as both series were produced by Sheldon Reynolds.
