Netflix has partnered with Hachette's Les Editions Albert René and playwright Alain Chabat to create the first-ever animated limited series based on the iconic French comic book The Adventures of Asterix. The 3D animated series will be made in France and streamed on Netflix around the world in 2023. Chabat, who wrote and directed 2002's Mission Cleopatra, will serve as showrunner. The Netflix series will be based on Asterix and the Big Fight, where the Romans, after being constantly embarrassed by Asterix and his village cohorts, organize a brawl between rival Gaulish chiefs and try to fix the result by kidnapping a druid along with his much-needed magic potion.

A public hospital on the outskirts of a large city. Following health measures, doctors in the internal medicine department are confined to their homes for 48 hours. Three inexperienced interns and a forensic doctor, who do not yet know each other, will have to work together to manage the department and the patients alone. But the quarantine lasts longer....
