The concept is an updated take on Captain America and X-Men co-creator Jack Kirby's 1978 Devil Dinosaur comic book series.

AMC Networks has revealed the company's new slate of original digital series heading into development, and the list includes a new season of the Emmy-winning digital series Better Call Saul Employee Training featuring all-new characters from the show. Also on the list is Slippin' Jimmy, an animated series derived from the world of Better Call Saul set in the lovable conman's younger years. Set many years before the events of Better Call Saul, Slippin' Jimmy follows the adventures of young Jimmy and Chuck McGill and friends back home in Cicero, Illinois. It is created in the "retro style of Fat Albert" and "each episode nods to everything from spaghetti Westerns to Buster Keaton to After Hours."

Pacific Rim returns to the epic battle of Kaiju and Jaegers, expanding upon the story of the first two live-action movies, and follows two siblings - an idealistic teenage boy and his naïve younger sister - who are forced to pilot an abandoned Jaeger across a hostile landscape in a desperate attempt to find their missing parents.

The Society follows a group of teenagers who are mysteriously transported to a facsimile of their wealthy New England town, left without any trace of their parents. As they struggle to figure out what has happened to them and how to get home, they must establish order and form alliances if they want to survive. The series is a modern take on Lord of the Flies.
