Anime adaptation of Bandai Namco's PSP action game series "God Eater." Set in Japan in the year 2071 where the world has been mostly destroyed by mysterious monsters known as the Aragami. An organization known as Fenrir was made to exterminate Aragami using weapons called God Arcs which is made from the cells of an Aragami. Those who specialize in exterminating Aragami are known as God Eaters. Originally God Eaters had one type in which their God Arcs can only keep gun form or blade form, however a new type has been discovered that can switch between gun and blade form. Since then, they have been classified new-types and the previous as old-types.

The two men, Boyacky and Tonzura, worked under Doronjo but got kicked out from the Yatter Kingdom along with the Doronbo thieves as they lost a fight against the Yatterman. This is the new generation of Dorombo - Doronjo, Boyacky, Tonzura, and new Yatterman - a story of the birth of Gan-chan and Ai-chan.

This is an anime adaptation of a popular manga based on a fictional world with medieval technology. In this world, humans coexist with creatures called Yoma. The Yoma are sentient, shape-changing monsters that disguise themselves as and then feed on humans. By consuming a human brain, the Yoma can absorb the victim's memories, allowing them to infiltrate human circles without arousing the suspicions of their victim's close friends or family. In order to protect humans from the Yoma, a secret organization has created an order of superhuman warriors known as Claymores.

The plot follows a team of mercenaries known as Lagoon Company, who smuggle goods in and around the seas of Southeast Asia. Their base of operations is located in the fictional city of Roanapur in Thailand, and they transport goods in the PT boat Black Lagoon. Lagoon Company does business with various clients, but has a particularly friendly relationship with the Russian crime syndicate Hotel Moscow. The team takes on a variety of missions - which may involve violent firefights, hand-to-hand combat, and nautical battles - in various Southeast Asian locations and when not doing much, the members of the Lagoon Company spend much of their down time at The Yellow Flag, a bar in Roanapur.
