Onizuka Eikichi, now 52, is a legendary former teacher known for his unconventional methods and wild past as a biker gang member. Although he once helped many students by facing their problems directly, his extreme behavior made it difficult for him to keep a steady job. Now, he arrives at Seishin Academy, which may be his final chance as a teacher. The students in his class avoid close relationships and care more about social media and personal gain than each other. The classroom feels cold and disconnected. Ignoring rules and social expectations, Onizuka confronts his students head-on and pushes beyond the school's strict system. As he becomes involved in each student's hidden struggles, he begins to change not only the students, but also Kashiwabara and the teachers around him.

Live-action series adaptation of Haro Aso's Alice in Borderland (Imawa no Kuni no Alice) manga. The manga centers on Ryōhei Arisu (pronounced the same as "Alice" in Japanese), a male high school student who is irritated with his intolerable everyday life. One night, he tags along with his bad friends Karube and Chōta to hang out in town. However, the town is suddenly covered in giant fireworks. When he comes to his senses, Ryōhei notices that no one else is around. Finding themselves in a different world, Ryōhei, Karube, and Chōta are forced to participate in survival games or die right off the bat. The three fight to live, as well as to find a way back to their own world.

Shido Genba, who works for CTU, is on a top-secret mission to prevent the assassination of Urara Asakura, the prime minister candidate who could become Japan's first female prime minister. Genba's wife and daughter have also been targeted and people that he works with may be involved with both.
