Set against Cannes and the Cote d'Azur, the action centers on the relationship between an idealistic and ambitious female cop and an ex-conman and master of counterfeit, who's on the run from both the police and the mob. The pair are forced into an unlikely - and surprisingly successful - crime-fighting partnership, which sees them solve a murder case in each close-ended episode. However, the drama's long arc focuses on the main character's quest to find the criminals who framed her father, a local-hero police officer who was jailed for a murder he didn't commit.

It's the end of peak season at the French winter station Les Cimes. Vacationers leave, the snow melts, and reveals a woman's corpse in an intriguing and macabre staging. Swiss captain Sterenn Peiry is tasked with the case and rapidly joined by French investigator Lyes Bouaouni, who investigates another case in which the victim was found in a similar staging.

Four police officers of the SDPJ Hauts-de-Seine, Eddie Caplan, Walter Morlighem, Theo Wachevski and Roxane Delgado have their lives turned upside down when their colleague, Max, committed suicide, following a case in which he is unfairly blamed. They then cross the "yellow line", not hesitating to circumvent the law to achieve their purposes in order to wash the honor of their friend Max.
