Christopher Lloyd is on the hunt for the Back to The Future DeLoreans in a new series for Discovery+. In the four-part series, called Expedition: Back to the Future, Lloyd will team up with Expedition Unknown host Josh Gates to track down other versions of the modified DeLorean DMC-12 that was used for the filming of the classic 1985 movie. Their journey will take them all across the United States, with stops including Los Angeles, Houston, New York, and Orlando.

In "Expedition X," the search for adventure continues with Gates as well as scientist Phil Torres and paranormal researcher Jessica Chobot, who will investigate reports of supernatural encounters, mysterious creatures, and astonishing extraterrestrial phenomena. Other adventures will include trekking through the remote jungles of Cambodia in search of a legendary ape-man or exploring the secrets of the world's largest cave system.

Unable to travel due to the global pandemic, Josh Gates stays at home and interviews guests pertinent to the topic of the evening.

From the jungles of Mexico's Yucatan peninsula to the ruins of the Trojan battlefield in Turkey, Josh Gates weaves the tales and tells the secrets of the world's most legendary locations.
