The Fear Index
The Fear Index centers on Dr Alex Hoffman, a computer scientist and genius who is ready to make a killing. Alongside his Hedge Fund business partner and best friend, Hugo, he's launching VIXAL-4 to investors - an AI-driven system that exploits fear in the financial markets and operates at lightning speed to make big returns. The promise is billions, the rich are ready to get richer... but this is not the day Alex and Hugo had planned on. What follows is a fast-paced journey through the worst 24 hours of Alex's life - cutting across reality, memory and paranoid fantasy, forcing him to question everything he sees with his own eyes.
Paradise Lost
Paradise Lost is about a psychiatrist who moves with her family from California to her husband's hometown in Mississippi only to uncover shameful secrets that irrevocably change the lives of everyone involved.
Penny Dreadful
Some of literature's most famously terrifying characters - including Dr. Frankenstein and his creature, Dorian Gray and iconic figures from the novel Dracula - become embroiled in Victorian London. The series weaves together these classic horror origin stories as the characters grapple with their monstrous alienation.
Cracker (US)
Gerry "Fitz" Fitzgerald is an insulting, nosy, loathsome individual who is drunken excuse for a husband, a lousy father, and a gambling washout but he has one saving grace - he is a brilliant psychologist with an uncanny ability to see the evil in people, bring them to confess and walk away unscathed. He seems to understand the criminal mind, most probably because his mind isn't that far removed from the criminals he deals with. Cracker was based upon the Cracker series for the UK that starred Robbie Coltrane.
