Katsuki Murase

A humorous and action-packed story about a class of misfits who are trying to kill their new teacher - an alien octopus with bizarre powers and super strength! The teacher has just destroyed the moon and is threatening to destroy the earth - unless his students can destroy him first. What makes things more complicated is that he's the best teacher they've ever had!

The story revolves around "Minimum" or "minor miracle"- special hereditary powers discovered only in an extremely limited number of humans. Those who possess such powers are known as "Minimum Holders." Partners Nice and Murasaki form a detective agency called "Hamatora" in Yokohama in 2014 - but their "office" is a table at Cafe Nowhere where they and their friends wait for clients. An old acquaintance of theirs, a cop named Art, hires them for a serial murder case he is investigating, and they discover that the murder victims are all "Minimum Holders." As Minimum Holders themselves, Nice and Murasaki are drawn into this case, whether they like it or not.

Protected by the highest security, the Maison de Ayakashi is rumored to be haunted, where only eccentrics could live. In reality, it is a place for humans with non-human ancestors to live. The socially-inept Ririchiyo has come here to improve himself. She meets secret service bodyguard Soushi, who is assigned to protect residents. He has a request of her: "Please make me your dog."

Nagasumi drowns but is saved by a mermaid named San. Her mob boss parents force Nagasumi to marry her, leading to chaos and danger. As Nagasumi tries to keep San's mermaid identity a secret, her family and rivals threaten their relationship. Based on a manga by Kimura Tahiko.
