Set around a caravan park on the north Wales coast, Pitching In tells the story of three generations of the same family, all struggling to make the best of a very unusual - and sometimes very difficult - situation.
The Radio Times described the drama as a Semi-Autobiographical series. It's about a shambolic family living on a Manchester estate. Eldest sister, Fiona, has to look after her five younger siblings after their mother's disappearance and there father became an alcoholic.
A British soap opera. It was orginally called Emmerdale Farm but was renamed just Emmerdale in 1989. The central family on the show since the beginning has been the Sugdens.
