Otaku Sakamichi Onoda has just entered high school and plans to join the anime club. In order to reestablish the club he tries to find 4 other people who would like to join. Since he was a little boy, Onoda has ridden his mamachari - a bulky bicycle with a step-through frame mainly used for short rides, such as for casual fun or to pick up groceries - to go to Akihabara every week to check out or buy otaku things. Fellow freshman Shunsuke Imaizumi and bicyclist, while training, notices a boy (Onoda) riding his mamchari up a steep road. Freshman and road racing cyclist, Shokichi Naruko visits Akihabara to get some Gundam plastic models for his younger brothers and meets Onoda who catches his attention because of the his cycling skill on the mamachari and later find out they go to the same school. Later on, both Naruko and Imaizumi try to convince him to join the bicycle racing club, but will he?

B-Daman CrossFire follows Riki Ryugasaki, a young boy who eventually discovers a particular game called, B-Daman. One day, he finds a B-Daman of his own named, Thunder Dracyan. Thunder Dracyan is inhabited by a B-Animal, mystical beasts trapped in the form of B-Daman figures.[1] Riki soon discovers how Dracyan's B-Animal is one of the Legendary Dragons, specifically the "Blue Dragon". His friend and rival, Samuru Shigane also owns one of these Dragons, the "White Dragon" in his Lightning Dravise. Together, they uncover a mystery and legend regarding these Dragons and plans by certain individuals seeking hegemony through them. As a result, Riki and Samuru divulge themselves more into the sport of Cross Fight, learning the various new game types, mechanics and such while as they plan to thwart any B-Der wishing to rule the world. As simultaneously, they meet friends and enemies in what climaxes into B-Daman CrossFire

The backdrop of Gilgamesh is the fight between two opposing forces. One of the forces is known as the Gilgamesh, lead by Terumichi Madoka (better known as Enkidu), and the other side is the Countess of Werdenberg and the three Orga-Superior children who live with her. In appearance, the Orga-Superior are indistinguishable from humans. Shindou Hikaru, a 6th grader, finds an old go table in the attic of his grandfather's house. Sai's opponent cheats during the match, and before Sai could say anything about it, the opponent accused Sai of cheating. Sai was banished from the court, and because of regret and anger, he committed suicide. But as with all unrepented souls, Sai was unable to leave the material world... until he is able to master go, and get one step closer to kami no itte, or god's hand.
