Superheroes Decoded
Superheroes Decoded reveals how the origin stories of our most iconic superheroes are the building blocks of a uniquely American mythology. This special 2-night, four-hour event is equal parts fan film and informed documentary, mixing clips from present-day blockbuster films with vintage comic book artwork and historical archival to tell the surprising story of the modern era through the lens of our fictional heroes. The program features heroes and villains from both Marvel and DC side by side, as well as commentary from creators, artists, filmmakers, famous fans, and the stars who bring these characters to life on TV and film. We'll see how the rise of the superhero parallels America's rise as a superpower in the 20th century, and how both stories continue to evolve into the future.

After Terry finds out Bruce's secret and his father is killed, Terry becomes the new Batman. He's a more high-tech Batman, with rocket boots and cloaks.
The New Batman Adventures
The setting of the series was two years after the last episode of Batman, and to give it the whole time-jump feeling, many things in Gotham had changed. In the two years, Dick Grayson had retired from being Robin, and he traveled the world (like Batman) and returned to Gotham as Nightwing. Barbara Gordon became a full member of Batman's team as she became his main partner. Then, a new Robin, Tim Drake came into the gang and they became the knights of Gotham.

An animated series that premiered on September 6, 1996. Created to follow the success of "Batman: The Animated Series", and based on the popular Superman comics, the cartoon series focused on the adventures of Superman, an incredibly powerful crime fighter from the planet Krypton, who defends Metropolis from a variety of super-criminals.
