In the comedy-drama "Psykodrama," we follow friends, actors, and family men Per (Per Kjerstad) and Olec (Ole Christoffer Ertvaag) in their struggle against themselves and their surroundings. Issues and challenges related to OCD, Northern Norwegian temper, alcohol, obsessive thoughts, busy family lives, careers, and general hypochondria are central themes - and we follow their self-examination and attempts to navigate their way through life.

Alfred Garnes is a working-class sailor, who has recently become the father of a third child. He and his childhood friend Sigbjørn Kvalen are working on a merchant ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean when World War II breaks out. They are unarmed civilians on the front lines of a war they never asked to join. The two men struggle for survival in a spiral of violence and death, where at any moment German submarines may attack their valuable vessels. Olle (played by Kristoffer Joner) is just a regular family man who wakes up on the car ferry between Sandefjord and Strømstad after a binge on a work conference.
