L'Allieva, (literally The Pupil, official English title The Student) is a Procedural Romantic Dramedy Italian tv series, based on the book series of the same name by author Alessia Gazzola, centering on young forensic medical student Alice Allevi. Alice Allevi is a fifth-year med student who has come to a shocking conclusion: she can't go on and become a doctor as she is unable to stand other people's suffering, and thus starts wondering what to do. Paradoxically, the solution comes to her right after the brutal murder of her grandmother's live-in Russian help, as she starts seriously considering the idea of going into forensic medicine while following the development of the case. But with her propensity for goofing up, that idea seems less of a shoo-in and more of an uphill climb...

Nun Angela runs the bar "l'Angolo Divino", a bar inside convent. The bar acts as a meeting for people of varying kinds. Sister Angela speaks to them and learns about their daily life, often helping to solve their problems.
