The staff of the last Blockbuster Video in America learns what it takes - and more specifically who it takes - for a small business to succeed against all odds.
Follows hospital psychiatrist Dr. Suzanne Mathis, who shelters a mysterious cult escapee, Mae. Her world is turned upside down as the strange girl's arrival threatens to tear her own family apart.
The show follows the return of a local politician's young son, who was presumed dead after disappearing more than a decade earlier, sending shock waves throughout his tight-knit community. But as the mysterious young man is welcomed back into his community, the neighbor sitting in jail for his murder is released and the cop responsible is forced to re-examine what truly happened so many years ago.
