The action of "The Office PL" takes place in Siedlce, at the headquarters of the "Kropliczanka" mineral water company. Its president, Micha艂, is a man devoid of self-reflection, who strives for attention and recognition with every word and gesture. When the company is taken over by a new owner, and employees start to worry about their jobs, only Micha艂 is optimistic about the changes. Business changes are intertwined with everyday office activities of "Kropliczanka" employees.
Set in Warsaw in 1937, Kr贸l centers on a Jewish gangster-boxer Jakub Szapiro, who is drawn into a political conspiracy and mob warfare that may decide the fate of the state.
