A small community of survivors of an apocalypse that has overrun the rest of the world and plunged it into chaos is holed up on Germany's only offshore island.
The Franconian brewer Curt Prank (MiĊĦel Maticevic) stole five host plots at the Oktoberfest in Munich in 1900 with bribery and blackmail in order to erect a gigantic giant tent for six thousand guests. That leads to war with the small traditional Munich breweries, which fear for their existence.
