However, Smile's quiet personality keeps him from being able to win against Peco. The club's teacher takes notice of Smile's talent and works to change his attitude toward the sport.
Dragon Ball Kai
The Earth's Greatest Warriors are back in Dragon Ball Kai, an HD Remaster and Recut to commemorate the 20th Anniversary of author Akira Toriyama's hit anime Dragon Ball Z. Using Dragon Ball Z's footage, the series has been remade in high definition and recut, removing most traces of filler for the sake of a faster pacing, sticking closer to the original manga work.
Kekkaishi
14 year-old Sumimura Yoshimori is the desendant of a monster exterminator, also known as a Kekkaishi. Unfortunately, he is not the only one. Yumikura Tokine, his older, female rival is also related to the Kekkaishi. They battle monsters and demons, protecting their lands and people, all the while vying for the title of rightful heir to the Kekkaishi bloodline.
Dragonball GT
Goku is accidentally wished back into his child form thanks to Pilaf trying to use the Black Star Dragon Balls. Now he, along with a grown up Trunks and his granddaughter Pan, must travel the universe to search for these Black Star Dragon Balls and return them to the Earth within one year, or the Earth will be destroyed.
Dragonball Z
Many years have passed since Goku first searched for the Dragon Balls. He is a grown man, with a wife and son. He and his friends have settled into their own lives and, for the most part, things are rather peaceful. Then one day, Goku learns he is really a Saiyan and comes from another planet. Now begins new adventures for Goku and his friends as they defend their home against new, more powerful threats.
Dragon Ball
Long ago in the mountains, a fighting master known as Gohan discovered a strange boy whom he named Goku. Gohan raised him and trained Goku in martial arts until he died. The young and very strong boy was on his own, but easily managed. Then one day, Goku met a teenage girl named Bulma, whose search for the dragon balls brought her to Goku's home.
Hyakujuu Ou Golion
GoLion's story starts in the year 1999, when the planet Altea is subdued and enslaved by the Galra Empire. Five space pilots return to Earth to find the planet annihilated by thermonuclear war. Eventually, the explorers are captured and enslaved, and forced to fight for their lives in Emperor Daibazaal's arena. The young pilots escape and eventually land on the planet Altea, where they discover the secret of the mighty sentient robot GoLion, the only weapon powerful enough to defeat Emperor Daibazaal's forces. Thousands of years ago, GoLion was once an arrogant robot who, after defeating several beastmen, tried to challenge a goddess to battle, but failed. To teach him humility, the goddess separated him into five pieces in the form of five lion robots that sailed through space and crash-landed on Altea to lay in wait for those who would one day reawaken him to fight evil once again.
The Adventures of Tom Sawyer
In the middle of the 19th century, a boy and the girl who live in St. Petersburg, a rural village at the foot of the Mississippi River in the United States, begin an epic adventure.
Galaxy Express 999
Galaxy Express is a manga written and drawn by Leiji Matsumoto, as well as various anime films and TV series based on it. It is set in a space-faring, high-tech future in which humans have learned how to transfer their consciousnesses (but not their consciences) into mechanical bodies, thus achieving practical immortality. The manga won the Shogakukan Manga Award for shōnen in 1978.[6] The anime series won the Animage Anime Grand Prix prize in 1981.
The Adventures of Pinocchio (JP)
The episodes tell the classic story of Pinocchio the wooden puppet, who often gets into trouble through being mischievous and naive. He leaves Geppetto to follow a puppet theater and together with a duck named Gina and a woodpecker called Rocco, Pinocchio finds his way through various adventures and eventually learns about values like friendship and courage. In the end, he finds his way back to Geppetto and a fairy transforms him into a real boy.
Doraemon (1973)
Nobita Nobi is so hapless that his 22nd century decendants are still impoverished as a result of his 20th century bumbling. In a bid to raise their social status, their servant, a robotic cat named Doraemon, decides to travel back in time and guide Nobita on the proper path to fortune. Unfortunately Doraemon, a dysfunctional robot that the familly acquired by accident (but chose to keep nonetheless), isn't much better off than Nobita. The robot leads Nobita on many adventures, and while Nobita's life certainly is more exciting with the robot cat from the future, it is questionable if it is in fact better in the way that Doraemon planned. Doraemon is one of the longest running TV series in Japan, while Sazae-san has been running longer, there are more episodes of Doraemon. While the original 1973 series was not very well received and fizzled after only 27 episodes, the 1979 series still runs today, with almost 2000 episodes (total) to date.
