Foxy Brown is a TV version modern re-imagining of the 1974 movie and the larger-than-life Foxy Brown character, originally played by Pam Grier in what is still recognized the ultimate portrayal of a strong and powerful African-American woman. The format of Foxy Brown the TV series will follow the same format as Brown now played by Meagan Good will seek revenge for the murder of her boyfriend by a drug syndicate.

Four stylish and ambitious best girlfriends in Harlem, New York City: a rising star professor struggling to make space for her love life; a savvy tech entrepreneur always dating someone new; a no-filter singer; and a hopeless romantic fashion designer. Together, they level up into the next phase of their careers, relationships, and big city dreams.

This series is envisioned as a sequel to the movie. It is set 10 years after the end of Precrime in DC. One of the three Precogs struggles to lead a "normal" human life, but remains haunted by visions the future, when he meets a detective haunted by her past who just may help him find a purpose to his gift.

The show centers on a journeyman musician (Robinson) who gets a job as a music teacher at a middle school. While teaching the kids everything from rock to the blues, he simultaneously learns how to put the school's rules to the test.

Infamous stars Megan Good as Joanna Locasto, a police detective who returns undercover to the wealthy family she grew up in to solve the murder of Vivian Lawson, the notorious heiress who was once her closest friend. Laz Alonso also stars a fellow NYPD detective/former flame who recruits Joanna to infiltrate the Lawson home.
