The show tells the story of Dexter Procter, a 10-year-old paediatrician and the world's youngest-ever doctor trying to solve - frequently disgusting - medical mysteries, save his job, and find his place in the world. Eagle-Service is making his screen debut in the role. Serafinowicz plays Dr Drake, a jealous colleague who can't stand the idea of a child working as a doctor and spends every waking second attempting to have Dexter fired.

Queenie Jenkins, a 25-year-old Jamaican British woman living in south London, straddles between two cultures and fits neatly into neither. After a messy breakup, she seeks comfort in all the wrong places and realizes she has to face the past so she can rebuild.

Mandy is a woman with dreams. Big dreams. Most of all she dreams of breeding Doberman Pinchers. But there are hurdles to overcome before that dream can become a reality.
