Grace & Favour
After Young Mr. Grace dies in a tragic scuba diving accident, the staff of gentleman's readywear and ladie's intimate apparel inherit a country house hotel - Millstone Manor, where they try to cater to the needs of guests - with hilarious results!
Cluedo
The widowed Elizabeth Peacock lives at Arlington Grange with her step-daughter, the gorgeous (and fast) Vivienne Scarlet. Mrs White is their housekeeper. Three friends, Professor Peter Plum, Colonel Michael Mustard, and the Reverend Jonathan Green, often come to visit, and someone new is always around - someone everyone will have reasons for wanting dead. But Cluedo is a game show, not a drama series: a film of this week's murderous events is shown to two celebrity teams, who question the suspects and try to work out who did the deed. Members of the cast improvise their answers, and each season has a new cast. Outside the UK, the series was sometimes called Clue.
Are You Being Served?
"Are You Being Served?" is a British Sitcom that ran from 1972-1985. The show revolved around a store where a reorganization forced two departments to share floor space, and the conflicts that this created- set the tone for most episodes.
The Liver Birds
The story of two young women sharing a flat in Liverpool in the early 1970. Although there were several cast changes during the life of the series, a posh vs common theme ran throughout. The original cast was Dawn (Pauline Collins) and Beryl Hennessey (Polly James), but Sandra Hutchinson (Nerys Hughes) replaced Dawn from Series 2 onward. Carol Boswell (Elizabeth Estensen) eventually replaced Beryl. Also notable was Mollie Sugden (Are you being Served) playing Sandra's snobbish mother.
The storylines for this comedy usually revolved around the pair's troubles in their relationships with men, problems at work, and interfering families.
