Hill shepherds' son Reuben Owen is back, attempting to grow his new heavy plant machinery business with his best friends Tommy and Sarah in the remote Yorkshire Dales.
Beyond the Yorkshire Farm: Reuben & Clive follows Clive and Reuben as they travel beyond their remote hill farm in the Yorkshire Dales, to embark on a digging business venture together. The show will chart how the teenager's unique childhood has prepared him for adult life, chart the highs and lows of Reuben's first year in business and watch dad Clive, best mate Tom and girlfriend Sarah join him on this journey.
The Owen family - and there are 11 of them - is the cheeriest and happiest imaginable. Clive and Amanda's kids lead a simple, frugal life and are totally involved in farm work: responsible 14-year-old Reuben is a mechanical whizz, six-year-old Sid expertly uses a hay-baling knife and lights a camp fire, while even the little ones help with lambing, feeding and herding. All without moaning. Not even on a bitterly cold, snowy Christmas Day.
