Merlin
This 13-part drama series puts a new spin on the story of the infamous sorcerer, Merlin. Set in the mythical City of Camelot, the story follows young Merlin's dangerous journey as he comes face to face with legendary and fantastical characters.
One Foot in the Grave
Victor Meldrew, a man who, put simply, is annoyed by every one of life's 'challenges' and when forced to take early retirement, he suddenly has plenty of time on his hands to rage against the petty annoyances of life and the people in it.
Cluedo
The widowed Elizabeth Peacock lives at Arlington Grange with her step-daughter, the gorgeous (and fast) Vivienne Scarlet. Mrs White is their housekeeper. Three friends, Professor Peter Plum, Colonel Michael Mustard, and the Reverend Jonathan Green, often come to visit, and someone new is always around - someone everyone will have reasons for wanting dead. But Cluedo is a game show, not a drama series: a film of this week's murderous events is shown to two celebrity teams, who question the suspects and try to work out who did the deed. Members of the cast improvise their answers, and each season has a new cast. Outside the UK, the series was sometimes called Clue.
Tutti Frutti
Dark comedy about Scottish rock and roll band The Majestics. Disaster strikes on the eve of their 25th anniversary tour when their lead singer dies in a car crash.
Only When I Laugh
James Bolam plays Roy Figgis, a long-term NHS hospital bed occupant. Archie Glover (Peter Bowles) and Norman Binns (Christopher Strauli) are his ward mates, all suffering from extreme cases of hypchondria.
Despite being apparently 'ill', the three don't just get themselves into trouble, but seem to have difficulty behaving.
Richard Wilson plays Dr Gordon Thorpe, and Derrick Branche is Gupte, the ward orderly, who are both the bane of the three's lives, and they the bane of theirs.
