A multi-camera scripted half-hour, the series follows David Hobbs (Baio) an actor who, after ten years of starring as America's favorite TV dad, becomes a stay-at-home father to honor the deal he made with his soap star wife so that she may return to the limelight.

Diagnosis Murder follows Dr. Mark Sloan, the chief of internal medicine, at LA's Community General Hospital. Dr. Sloan, much like Jessica Fletcher of Murder, She Wrote, has a magnetic quality that apparently draws murders to him. Every week, Dr. Sloan stumbles across murders, either acting in his role at the hospital, aiding the police as a medical consultant, or just plain dumb luck.

Charles takes a job as a babysitter/nanny to the Pembroke family (then the Powell family) while balancing his social life and classwork.

This spin-off of Happy Days follows Chachi Arcola as he moves out and tries to make it on his own with a rock band and a music career. In between holding down a job and keeping his girlfriend, Joanie Cunningham, happy, he must also deal with the often unwanted, but sometimes needed, advice and interference from his friends, relatives and neighbors.

The Cunningham family live through the 1950s and 1960s with help and guidance from the lovable and almost superhuman greaser Fonzie.
